Let’s just say the rollout for Wicked: For Good has been…disastrous. I’ve rarely seen a film’s hype plummet so quickly. Forget any talk of sequels or prequels; they’re dead in the water. While Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are talented performers, the way this film’s publicity has imploded feels like it could seriously damage their future casting potential. It’s a tough situation, and frankly, a bit of a career setback for both of them, no matter how good they are.
