Netflix Reveals XO Kitty Season 3 Release Window, Cast Members, Plot & More

Fans are excited for Season 3 of XO, Kitty, which Netflix has confirmed will premiere in 2026. The show is a continuation of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before movies, following Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) as she studies at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) and navigates a journey of self-discovery in Korea.

With its charming romances and heartwarming friendships, XO Kitty has become a popular show on Netflix, leading to its renewal for a third season. Season 2 launched on January 16, 2025, and Netflix confirmed another season just a month later in February 2025. As fans eagerly await the show’s return, here’s the latest information about the upcoming third season.

When Will XO Kitty Season 3 Release?

Netflix has announced that Season 3 of XO Kitty will be released in 2026, though the specific date hasn’t been revealed yet. Filming for the new season started in Seoul, Korea, around April 2025 and finished in July 2025.

The second season of the show faced production delays because of the writers’ and actors’ strikes. Although the show was renewed in June 2023, filming didn’t begin until April 2024. It finally premiered on January 16, 2025.

Considering the production schedule, a premiere for XO Kitty Season 3 is likely in early 2026, with March 2026 being the most probable release timeframe.

Netflix usually announces when new shows are coming by first releasing a trailer. We might start seeing marketing for Season 3 as early as February 2026, potentially a month before it actually premieres. If the show isn’t released in March 2026, a summer release is likely.

XO Kitty Season 3’s Cast Includes New Cast Members (& Returning Favorites)

The show XO Kitty features a talented cast of rising stars, and Season 3 will see most of the original actors return. Alongside Anna Cathcart, familiar faces like Minyeong Choi (as Dae), Gia Kim (as Yuri), Sang Heon Lee (as Min Ho), and Anthony Keyvan (as Q) will be back for the new season.

Season 3 of XO Kitty will also feature returning cast members Regan Aliyah as Juliana, Hojo Shin as Jiwon, Joshua Lee as Jin, Sasha Bhasin as Praveena, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, Han Bi Ryu as Eunice, and Sunny Oh as Mihee, completing the core group. Peter Thurnwald and Michael K. Lee will reprise their roles as father-son professors Alex and Principal Lee.

Okay, so Netflix just dropped some news about Season 3, and it sounds like things are really heating up! Three new faces are joining the cast: Sule Thelwell is playing Marius, Christine Hwang will be Gigi, and Soy Kim is Yisoo. They’re keeping what these characters do a secret for now, but honestly, I’m guessing they’re going to add a whole lot of drama – and maybe even some new love interests – into Kitty’s already complicated life. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out!

Audrey Huynh, who played the main villain Stella in Season 2, likely won’t be back for future seasons. On the other hand, Hojo Shin, who joined the show as Kitty’s cousin, will now be a regular cast member.

What Stories to Expect In XO Kitty Season 3

The second season of XO Kitty left viewers with a strong sense that a romance between Kitty and Min Ho is developing. Although Min Ho dated Stella for much of the season, it was obvious he still had feelings for Kitty.

Now that Stella has been kicked out of KISS because of her mean actions towards Min Ho’s father, Min Ho is looking for a fresh start with Kitty. They grew close in Season 2 after helping each other’s families – Min Ho helped Kitty find her long-lost relatives, and Kitty figured out a way to reveal Stella’s bad behavior.

Though they didn’t share a kiss in the Season 2 finale, Kitty took a brave step and asked Min Ho if she could accompany him on his summer tour, suggesting they’d be spending a significant amount of time together.

Fans have speculated that Kitty and Min Ho might already be a couple at the start of Season 3, and the season could explore them keeping their relationship a secret. We might also see flashbacks showing how they first got together.

Season 3 will also likely focus on Yuri dealing with the aftermath of her split from Juliana and her family’s financial ruin. Juliana, meanwhile, is now living with Praveena, and the two appear to be in a happy relationship, which adds to Yuri’s difficulties.
