The internet is full of ideas for combining Marvel characters in future movies and shows, especially with new projects like Spider-Man: Brand New Day and the Russo Brothers’ Avengers: Doomsday planned for 2026. But every so often, an idea really stands out. Recently, Chris Pratt revealed which character he’d love to see his character, Quill, team up with, and it’s a surprisingly good fit.

So, if I had to pick one character I’d love to see integrated into the MCU, it would definitely be Deadpool.

A team-up between Star-Lord and Deadpool seems like a natural fit, considering their similar comedic styles. Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord balances heartfelt moments with wacky, pop-culture references, while Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is known for directly addressing the audience and defusing serious situations. Combining these two characters could create a really funny and well-balanced dynamic.

Okay, so Chris Pratt recently made some comments that really got me thinking, especially considering where we left Star-Lord. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 felt like a real ending to that chapter – James Gunn wrapped up his story, changed the team dynamic, and sent Quill home to Earth. And that post-credits scene? It specifically teased “The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return!” But since then, Marvel’s been completely tight-lipped about what that actually means, or when we might see him again. The timing of Pratt’s comments just adds another layer of intrigue to the whole situation.

Most fans believe Star-Lord will be back in the upcoming two-part Avengers event, which includes the movies Doomsday and Secret Wars. However, neither Star-Lord nor Deadpool has been officially confirmed to appear in Doomsday, and reports about Ryan Reynolds’ involvement are still uncertain.

Pratt expressed interest in observing how Deadpool would be integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even if just as a silent observer.
