An actor from Disney+’s hit series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, has said he’d love to play Spider-Man India in a live-action movie. The character was previously voiced by Karan Soni, known for his role in Deadpool, in the animated film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

During an interview segment on Capital Buzz called ‘Tower of Truth,’ Aryan Simhadri, known for his role in ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians,’ excitedly revealed his dream role: playing Spider-Man India in a live-action movie. He’s so dedicated to the idea that he’s already planning to learn how to do a flip to prepare!
Simhadri expressed his enthusiasm for a potential ‘Spider-Man India’ project, jokingly saying it might not happen for another twenty years. He pleaded, ‘If it’s being worked on, please, Spider-Man India!’
Pavitr Prabhakar is a version of Spider-Man from Earth-50101, first appearing in 2004. Created by Sharad Devarajan, Jeevan Kang, and Suresh Seetharaman, this Spider-Man isn’t from New York City—he’s from Mumbai, India. He joined Miguel O’Hara’s Spider-Society in the 2023 animated movie, and fans can expect to see him again in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, scheduled for release on June 18, 2027.
Leah Sava Kriegh-Simhadri is most famous for her role as Grover Underwood in the Disney+ show Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which finishes its first season tomorrow. She’s also appeared in the Disney Channel movie Spin (2021), the remake of Cheaper by the Dozen (2022), and will be in the upcoming sequel Freakier Friday (2025).
