Viewers also enjoyed the thriller, giving it a 76% approval rating.
HBO Max Renewed Task for Season 2
The first season of Task finished on October 19th after airing seven episodes. HBO quickly moved to renew the show, officially announcing the second season on November 20th as part of a larger announcement of several show renewals.
HBO executive Francesca Orsi shared that they recognized early on that the series was strong, and they’ve been thrilled to see how enthusiastically audiences connected with and supported it as it gained popularity each week.
Brad Ingelsby is a remarkably talented writer who expertly combines compelling characters and gripping storylines. We’re confident Season 2 will be just as captivating and impactful as his previous work.
