This time around, it’s the long-awaited sequel to 2021’s Mortal Kombat, directed by Simon McQuoid. And if you’re a fan like me, get ready for Urban, known for his exceptional work on The Boys, bringing the notorious Johnny Cage character to life!

What happens in the Mortal Kombat 2 teaser trailer?

In the near future, expect a complete Mortal Kombat trailer from Warner Bros. Pictures. However, they’ve already unveiled a brief teaser where we see the character played by Urban, known as Cage, in an ‘Uncaged Fury’ film. He brutally fights a large group of villains, but only after they messed with his sunglasses.

In the realm of Mortal Kombat, Cage is an American actor who’s known for action films and martial arts. Previously, McQuoid stated to Variety that Johnny Cage wasn’t featured in the 2021 Mortal Kombat film because he possesses such a massive personality that it’s as if he generates his own force field.

In addition to the main characters of Mortal Kombat 2, we have Adeline Rudolph playing Kitana, Jessica McNamee portraying Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson taking on the role of Kano, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Mehcad Brooks as Jackson “Jax” Briggs, Tati Gabrielle starring as Jade, Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Hiroyuki Sanada in the dual roles of Hanzo Hasashi and Scorpion, Desmond Chiam as King Jerrod, and many others.
