The second part of One-Punch Man Season 3 finally has a release timeframe! The news came soon after the first part ended, putting an end to rumors about whether the show would continue. Now, fans know when they can look forward to the next installment of this popular anime.
One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 won’t get a 2026 release date
Good news for One-Punch Man fans is delayed! The second part of Season 3, originally planned for 2026, will now premiere in 2027, according to Bandai Namco Filmworks.
The news came right after the first part of Season 3 finished airing on December 28th. Although the show is still very popular worldwide, the first part of the new season received a mixed response, with some viewers disappointed in the animation quality. Despite this, J.C. Staff will still be animating the second part.
With the announcement of when Part 2 will be released, a new trailer and artwork have also been shared. These focus on the eagerly awaited battle between Saitama and Garou, suggesting the story is heading towards its most exciting point in the Monster Association Arc. The trailer includes short snippets of dialogue from both characters, teasing a fight between incredible strength and overwhelming fear. This second part of the arc is expected to bring the current season’s storyline to a satisfying conclusion.
The anime One-Punch Man, originally based on a manga by ONE, debuted in 2015. The third season is directed by Shinpei Nagai, with Tomohiro Suzuki handling the series’ composition. Chikashi Kubota, Shinjirou Kuroda, and Ryosuke Shirakawa are responsible for the character designs, and Makoto Miyazaki returns to compose the music.
While many fans haven’t reacted as positively to Season 3 as they did to previous seasons, excitement is still building for the second part. Currently, Bandai Namco Filmworks hasn’t given a firm release date, only stating it will arrive sometime in 2027.
