The trailer begins inside the X-Men Mansion, with a somber view of the building’s interior. We then see Charles Xavier’s wheelchair, and Xavier himself. A scene follows showing Xavier using his powers to levitate a chess king. Erik and Charles are then shown holding hands while considering the idea of death, sharing a smile. The scene quickly shifts to Cyclops taking off his visor and yelling, as everything around him appears to be ablaze with energy, with a Sentinel looming in the background.
