Gundam Returns an Underrated Gunpla to the Spotlight With Surprise Master Grade Re-Release

The popular franchise has expanded with numerous spin-offs across different platforms, each often featuring its own unique robots. Now, a previously released model kit from one of these spin-offs is being re-released, giving fans the chance to own a black-and-white sniper robot figure.

The MG 1/100 GM Sniper Ⅱ, customized in the colors of the “White Dingo” team, is a new release of a popular Master Grade kit. It includes all the weapons from the original GM Sniper and adds several exclusive armaments. Despite being based on a lesser-known novel series, Premium Bandai is making this version available for fans worldwide.

Bandai’s Newest Master Grade GM Sniper II Gundam Model Kit Blasts Away With International Release

Based on a little-known Gundam video game and the novels MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM Side Story: At the Site of the Fallen Colony, the MG 1/100 GM SNIPERⅡ [WHITE DINGO TEAM CUSTOM] is a great model to add to your collection. It features a distinctive white and dark blue color scheme and a redesigned Vulcan pod, setting it apart from earlier GM Sniper II models.

This mecha, part of the White Dingo Team, is heavily armed and highly mobile. It features a special shield, a Hyper Bazooka, a Beam Rifle, and a 90mm Bullpup machine gun. For even more firepower, it also includes a 100mm machine gun, a long-range Beam Rifle, Beam Sabers, and a Manipulator. The mecha’s design allows for a wide range of motion with a twisting waist, flexible neck, and shoulders that can extend and rotate.

Despite its armored design, this mobile suit remains incredibly flexible. Plus, the included White Dingo stickers make it look fantastic from every angle. While technically a re-release, this version has enough new details and improvements to make it a worthwhile addition for collectors.
