‘The Last Frontier’ Canceled at Apple TV After One Season

Apple TV+ has canceled “The Last Frontier” after only one season. The show was dropped just two weeks after its final episode aired, meaning it won’t be getting a second season.

The thriller centers on Frank Remnick, played by Jason Clarke, a solitary U.S. marshal working in the remote Alaskan wilderness. His peaceful territory is disrupted when a plane carrying prisoners crashes, releasing dozens of dangerous inmates. As Remnick tries to protect the town, he starts to believe the crash wasn’t accidental, but part of a larger, destructive plot.

The Apple TV series The Last Frontier premiered on October 10th and concluded on December 5th. It received a somewhat mixed reaction from viewers and critics.
