Fans of Ben 10 have something to look forward to in 2026! The original Ben 10 storyline concluded in 2014 with the Ben 10: Omniverse episode “A New Dawn,” bringing that era to a close. A second, separate storyline ran for four years, ending in 2021, and it acknowledged the larger Ben 10 universe.

As a longtime fan, I’ve been eagerly awaiting Ben Tennyson’s return, and it’s finally happening! After a bit of a hiatus since 2021, Dynamite Entertainment revealed plans for a new Ben 10 comic back in 2024. Now, as 2025 wraps up, we have a confirmed release date: Ben 10 #1 is hitting shelves in February 2026. It’s great to see Ben back, and I’m excited to see what adventures await!

Duncan Rouleau from Man of Action confirmed on December 17, 2025, that the new Ben 10 comic book from Dynamite Entertainment is finished. We should learn more about the release date, artwork, and story in January. While Dynamite and Man of Action haven’t said how long the comic will run, it’s expected to be an ongoing series rather than a limited one.

Dynamite’s new Ben 10 comics will essentially restart the series’ story, existing alongside the previous two versions. This means we’ll see Ben’s beginnings with the Omnitrix and his discovery of the different aliens reimagined in comic book form. The creative team behind Ben 10, known as Man of Action, told Bleeding Cool in October that this new series will offer a fresh take on these classic events.

The team behind the new series is taking the best elements from past versions and refining them to create the ultimate experience. Writer Joe Casey described the comics to Bleeding Cool as essentially an “Ultimate” or “Absolute” version of Ben 10 – a fresh, bold take on the beginning of the story.

Comics are a popular way to expand well-known franchises. In 2026, fans can look forward to comic book versions of properties like Godzilla, Predator, Supernatural, and Marvel Rivals, which all started in other forms of media.
