26 James Bond Movies Including ‘Never Say Never Again’ Streaming on Netflix in January

The James Bond franchise is getting ready for its next film, but before it hits theaters, all the 007 movies will be available to stream in January. This includes every Bond film ever made, even Never Say Never Again, which featured Sean Connery returning to the role after his original run ended with Diamonds Are Forever.

You can now watch all the official James Bond films for free on Pluto TV! Several missing movies were added on December 1st, including Sean Connery’s early hits – Dr. No, From Russia With Love, and Goldfinger – plus Daniel Craig’s Spectre. The only Bond film not currently available on the platform is the 1983 movie Never Say Never Again, which isn’t considered part of the official series by some fans.

Directed by Irvin Kershner, this Bond film retells the story of Thunderball, which originated from a story co-written by Kevin McClory, who fought for and won the rights to it after a 20-year legal battle. Unlike most Bond movies, it wasn’t produced by Eon Productions (along with the comedic Casino Royale starring Woody Allen). While audiences didn’t love it, critics enjoyed the familiar story and the performances, especially Max von Sydow as Blofeld and Kim Basinger as the Bond girl, Domino Vitali. Now, Netflix subscribers can revisit the film as part of a complete Bond movie marathon. Here’s the order in which they’ll be available on Netflix:

The James Bond Franchise is Just Part of Netflix’s New Line-Up of MGM Content

Movie licensing can be complicated, particularly with the rise of streaming services. MGM has begun making its films available on Netflix again, with titles like Bottoms and Dog appearing in November. More movies, including The Covenant, House of Gucci, and The Hustle, were added in early December. And for those who enjoy action with their holidays, Jason Statham’s Wrath of Man will be streaming on Christmas Day.

Netflix is adding all the James Bond films, which is the biggest addition from MGM so far – many of these movies will be available on the platform for the first time. While they won’t be there permanently, other popular franchises like Rocky, Creed, The Addams Family, and the TV show Fargo are also planned for release on Netflix in the future.

Netflix already has a major hit from MGM Television with the incredibly popular show Wednesday, which will remain on the platform for the next ten years. Even though Amazon now owns MGM, it’s beneficial for both companies to share content with Netflix. While some MGM titles are available on platforms like MGM+, being featured on Netflix significantly boosts interest in their existing library.
