Watch an Exclusive Clip from ‘Silent Night, Deadly Night’ Reimagining

Cineverse’s new take on the 1984 horror film, Silent Night, Deadly Night, comes out tomorrow! To get everyone excited, MovieWeb is sharing a sneak peek clip of the movie’s frightening holiday scenes. If this clip is anything to go by, horror fans can expect a lot to love when the full film is released on December 12th.

The new clip, directed by Mike P. Nelson, offers a preview of the violent horror film hitting cinemas tomorrow. It opens with Delphine (Sharon Bajer), a Nazi character and the sole survivor of a deadly attack at a “White Power Christmas” party. Rohan Campbell plays Billy, who arrives and causes the massacre. Delphine attempts to flee on an ATV, still wearing her Nazi hat and Santa suit, but Billy quickly ends her escape.

This is a new take on the notorious 1984 horror film. After witnessing the brutal murder of his parents by Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, Billy dedicates his life to spreading fear during the holidays. Every year, he dresses as Santa and unleashes a violent spree, believing he’s delivering twisted justice. This Christmas Eve, Billy asks: ‘Have you been naughty?’

‘Silent Night, Deadly Night’ Is Already Receiving Critical Acclaim

Okay, so I’ve been following Silent Night, Deadly Night, and it’s getting some surprisingly good buzz! It doesn’t officially hit theaters everywhere until tomorrow, but people who’ve seen early screenings are really digging it. Rotten Tomatoes has it at 86%, which is awesome, and critics are calling it everything from really bold and creative to… well, a weirdly sweet romance! One critic, Roberto Tyler Ortiz over at Geek Vibes Nation, put it really well, and I’m eager to see what he had to say.

Unlike many remakes, Silent Night, Deadly Night is actually enjoyable. It honors the heart of the original while still feeling fresh and modern, avoiding a purely exploitative approach.

Get ready for a wild Christmas horror movie! Silent Night, Deadly Night, coming to theaters December 12th from Cineverse, delivers the practical effects, gruesome violence, and killer Santa you’d expect from a 2025 slasher film. You can watch a seven-minute clip of the mayhem – including a scene with Billy taking on a group of Nazis – over at Bloody Disgusting.
