Netflix has officially renewed Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black for a third and final season.
The popular show is ending with its current season, news that comes right before the release of the second part of season 2, Beauty in Black, which arrives in March 2026. While details about a potential season 3 haven’t been released yet, Netflix has offered a first look at what’s coming in the next installment.
The streaming service released new photos from part two of Beauty in Black season two. The images show the cast facing difficult challenges and heated conflicts. We get a sneak peek at a tense conversation between Mallory (Crystle Stewart) and Olivia (Debbi Morgan), Horace (Ricco Ross) recovering in the hospital, and Kimmie (Taylor Polidore) stepping into a leadership role.
Netflix has announced that the final eight episodes of Beauty in Black season 2 will focus on the consequences of Kimmie’s growing power. After marrying the seriously ill Horace and becoming COO of the company, she’s now in charge, and the second part of the season will explore how she handles things after taking control of the business.
A major question at the end of the last episode was whether Horace would survive the season. He’s currently receiving treatment for prostate cancer in Italy, but it seemed like his ex-wife, Olivia, was secretly trying to harm him. Although it’s not confirmed, a recent Netflix preview showed Horace looking well, suggesting he might not be leaving the show anytime soon.
The next season of the show will feature Taylor Polidore Williams, Crystle Stewart, Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Ricco Ross, Julian Horton, Steven G. Norfleet, Richard Lawson, Terrell Carter, Bryan Tanaka, Charles Malik Whitfield, and Debbi Morgan. Several guest stars will also appear, including Bailey Tippen, Randall J. Bacon, Greg Clarkson, Ace Small, George Middlebrook, Kajanee Smith, Philemon Chambers, Aria Celeste Castillo, Rodrigo Aburto, Jasmine Burke, and Phylicía Lloyd.
Netflix has announced that season 3 will be the end of Beauty in Black, but they haven’t revealed any specifics about the final season yet. Fans can currently enjoy the second part of season 2, which promises exciting twists and dangerous conflicts in Perry’s popular Netflix series.
Beauty in Black season 2, part 2 will be released on Netflix on March 19, 2026.
