Okay, so I’m hearing some interesting buzz about a potential live-action remake of Tangled. Apparently, they’re starting to cast the roles, and a rumor just dropped about who they might be considering. It’s still just speculation right now, but as a huge fan of the original, I’m definitely keeping my ears open!

Okay, so I was reading over at Nexus Point News, and it sounds like Disney is really considering a bunch of fantastic young actresses for the live-action Tangled remake! Apparently, Sadie Sink, Mckenna Grace, Emma Myers, and Isabel May are all in the running to play Rapunzel. I was super excited to hear Scarlett Johansson was originally being looked at for Mother Gothel, but it seems her schedule is just completely packed now with The Exorcist, a new Batman movie, and even another Jurassic World film. Sadly, that means she won’t be able to take on the role, which is a bummer, but understandable!

A new report from The DisInsider says Disney is still searching for an actress to play Rapunzel in the upcoming live-action remake of Tangled. While Freya Skye, known for her role in “Zombies 4,” is being considered, McKenna Grace is currently the frontrunner according to industry insiders.
According to reports, Disney is still casting for the role of Rapunzel, but they’re also considering Mason Thames (known for “Black Phone” and “How to Train Your Dragon”) as a potential candidate to play Flynn Ryder.
Currently, reports about casting for a live-action remake of Tangled are just rumors. Disney hasn’t confirmed any actors yet. However, Michael Gracey, who directed “Better Man” and “The Greatest Showman,” is set to direct the film.
The Tangled remake does not yet have a release date.
