The Rings Of Power Season 3 Wrapped, And There’s A Sweet Celebration Video

I really enjoyed the show The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power in 2024, and I’ve been eagerly awaiting the next season after that fantastic finale. Now, it’s one step closer – Season 3 has finished filming! The show celebrated by sharing a behind-the-scenes video from the set of this Lord of the Rings prequel.

With such a vast world, The Rings of Power always offers a fascinating look at the work that goes into creating the fantasy series – from the sets and costumes to the talented actors. To announce that Season 3 has finished filming, TROP shared a great behind-the-scenes video featuring the cast discussing their enthusiasm for the upcoming season. Check it out!

The video begins with Jamie Campbell Bower, known for his role as Vecna in Stranger Things, giving viewers a tour of the Rings of Power filming location. Reports from Deadline say he’ll be playing a noble knight in Season 3, making him a major new cast member. Seeing him involved really excited me.

Right after being introduced, Owain Arthur immediately embodied his character Durin as he stepped onto the set. Knowing that Season 2 ended with the dwarves facing trouble as the fight for the throne started, I was excited to see him there.

Charlie Vickers and Morfydd Clark, the actors who play Sauron and Galadriel, also expressed their excitement about returning to their roles. I’m especially eager to see how their complex and intense relationship evolves after their dramatic confrontation last season, as Sauron pursues his goal of gaining power and Galadriel tries to stop him.

I definitely noticed Daniel Weyman’s brief appearance as Gandalf! After finally being identified in Season 2, we’re going to see the full power of Gandalf in action now!

This video was packed with interesting details that really captured our attention. From the set design and costumes to glimpses of the actors and behind-the-scenes moments, it gave us plenty to analyze and discuss while we eagerly await Season 3.

We probably won’t have to wait too much longer. If the pattern continues – with the first two seasons airing in 2022 and 2024 – we might see the third season in 2026. And now that filming is finished, we’re one step closer to revisiting Middle-earth on Amazon Prime!
