Fallout Season 1 Is Streaming Free Ahead of Season 2

Fans new to the show now have a chance to watch the first season for free before it returns for a second season! Starting now and running through December 25th, you can stream the entire first season of this sci-fi series on Samsung TV Plus. Season 2 premieres on December 17th, so this is a great way to catch up!

I’m so excited! It looks like the first season of Fallout is going to be available to stream for free, and it’s thanks to a cool partnership! Samsung, Amazon (who owns Prime Video), Bethesda (the game makers), and Xbox are all working together. Plus, they’re going to be promoting the show on Samsung’s channels and even with huge displays in Times Square. It’s going to be everywhere!

You can play Fallout 76: Burning Spring through the Xbox app on the Samsung Gaming Hub if you have Xbox Game Pass. Burning Spring incorporates elements from the Prime Video Fallout series into the game. Plus, *Fallout 76themed gifts are currently available on Twitch.

Prime Video is always looking for new and innovative ways to deliver content to viewers around the world, according to Emily Aldis, head of global distribution and partnerships. She stated that their existing relationship with Samsung helps improve how customers enjoy Prime Video, both through marketing efforts and by making the Prime Video app easy to use on Samsung Smart TVs.

Todd Howard, the game director at Bethesda, explained that when he and Jonah first discussed adapting Fallout for television, their priority was to accurately represent the game’s world while also creating original stories within it. He highlighted that the upcoming ‘The Ghoul’ addition to Fallout 76 demonstrates how interconnected these stories are, and he expressed excitement about Walton Goggins bringing his distinctive style and talent to the game as an actor.

Kevin Beatty, Samsung’s Head of Product for Gaming, Interactive Experiences and Emerging Tech, explained that this partnership showcases Samsung’s commitment to transforming entertainment by linking it across different platforms. He stated that Samsung devices – whether through the Samsung Gaming Hub, Samsung TV Plus, or Prime Video on Samsung TVs – offer the ultimate way to immerse yourself in the world of Fallout, whether you’re playing the game or watching the series.

Fans Can Catch Up on Fallout Before Season 2

Prime Video’s series Fallout was a major success when it launched in 2024. Based on the popular video game series, it follows survivors exploring a dangerous and funny post-apocalyptic world. The second season of Fallout will take the show’s characters to New Vegas, a fan-favorite location from the Fallout games.

Two centuries after a global catastrophe, the comfortable people living in protected underground shelters are forced to venture back onto the ruined surface world their ancestors abandoned. They’re surprised to find a strange and fascinating new world has emerged. The next season begins after the dramatic events of the first season and follows the characters as they travel through the dangerous Mojave Wasteland towards the rebuilt city of New Vegas.

You can currently watch Season 1 of Fallout for free on Samsung TV Plus, and it’s also still available on Prime Video. Season 2 will begin streaming on Prime Video on December 17th.
