It already takes a long time to uncover all of Stardew Valley’s secrets, and the game has some unsettling moments, but digging deeper reveals things that are truly bizarre.

Reddit user OkInfluence36 shared a strange discovery: unsettling, nearly nude character sprites hidden within the files of the game Stardew Valley. These sprites, often green-skinned and lacking arms, wear only shoes and a white bikini (if anything at all) and are posed in odd ways. While many were confused, some commenters explained this is a common practice for storing pixel art assets, and now people are playfully using the images for memes and jokes.

Stardew Valley’s Files Are Hiding Some Weird Business

It’s not common to dig into game files, so it’s no surprise people are confused by what they’ve found. The character images, shown on a white background and lacking clothes or arms, look strange. Plus, some of the poses don’t quite match how players usually see the characters in Stardew Valley.
