The final episode, titled “One Tree Hill,” felt more like a celebration of the show itself, filled with characters fondly remembering the past and expressing their affection for each other.
It was amazing! They even had a concert at TRIC nightclub, and Gavin DeGraw performed “I Don’t Wanna Be” – the show’s theme song! It felt so perfect, like a really cool inside joke. The actress said she was so glad everyone ended things on such a high note, and honestly, I totally agree.

I totally agree with Bethany Joy Lenz – you know, Haley James Scott from the show! After all the ups and downs everyone in Tree Hill went through, it felt so good that they were finally just allowed to be happy and connected. It was the perfect ending for them, and honestly, for us as fans too.
Sophia Bush has said there was one storyline from Season 9 of One Tree Hill she wished hadn’t happened: the return of Xavier, who previously attacked her character and killed Quentin. He was released from prison in the final season and attacked Brooke again, and many fans, including myself, agree that revisiting this plot point wasn’t necessary.
Honestly, everyone from One Tree Hill seems really happy about the reunion! Maybe a couple of their outfits were a little questionable, but that’s just nitpicking. I’m really excited to see if the buzz continues when Sophia Bush starts working on that sequel series with Hilarie Burton and Daneel Ackles – I’m hoping it lives up to the original!
