In an interview with Entertainment Online, the 33-year-old singer said he hopes the villain group, Saja Boys, return in the upcoming KPop Demon Hunters 2.

When asked what he’d like to see in KPop Demon Hunters 2, Woo enthusiastically said he’s eager for more focus on the ‘Saja Boys.’ He’s particularly interested in learning about their pasts and the reasons why they made a deal with Gwi-Ma, wanting a deep dive into all the details of their story.

Regarding the next installment of KPop Demon Hunters, Woo stated they are eager to learn more but currently have no details to share.

The singer said he’d be thrilled to return for a sequel. However, his character, Mystery Saja, and the rest of the demonic boyband don’t survive the first Netflix film, as they are defeated by Rumi and Huntr/x towards the end.

“I’m hoping for that too,” said Maggie Kang. “I’d love to see the Saja Boys return in the next movie. Even though our characters were killed off, we’re demons, so we essentially have endless lives!”

Netflix is reportedly working on a sequel to ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ partnering with directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, and Sony Pictures. The movie is currently planned for release in 2029.
