There’s Another ‘Freak Off’ Lawsuit Coming Down The Pipeline, But This One Only Somewhat Involves Diddy

Sean “Diddy” Combs is finishing a four-year prison sentence at Fort Dix and is also facing multiple lawsuits. These suits largely involve accusations of sexual assault and sex trafficking, all of which Combs, through his lawyers, denies. He’s now connected to a defamation case related to his parties, known as “Freak Offs,” but this time he isn’t the defendant.

As a film and music enthusiast, I’ve been following this case closely. It started when Jonathan Hay, who goes by ‘John Doe’ in the initial filings, made some really serious accusations. He claimed that C.J. Wallace, the son of Biggie Smalls, along with Willie Mack and others, put him in a situation where he was allegedly sexually assaulted by Sean Combs at Wallace’s home, and that he witnessed another alleged assault there. C.J. Wallace has strongly denied all of this – both the assault claims and Hay’s assertion that he and Combs had a sexual relationship, or that he was involved in anything Hay has described.

According to People magazine, C.J. Wallace says he and his partner, Wille Mack, collaborated with Jonathan Hay on a remix of “Ready to Dance” in 2020, but they couldn’t agree on the final terms. Wallace claims that after this, Hay began making accusations against Mack, first alleging unprofessional conduct in 2021, and then, in 2024, falsely claiming Mack and Wallace were in a romantic relationship.

Wallace is suing for both financial compensation for losses and additional damages intended to punish the responsible party, and a jury will determine the exact amount. The lawsuit claims Wallace experienced various harms, including lost career chances, public embarrassment, and emotional distress. The suit also addresses claims made by Jonathan Hay.

Hay made false and damaging statements about Wallace to others. Hay either knew these statements were untrue or didn’t bother to check if they were true before sharing them.

Why Diddy Is Reportedly At Risk Of Losing Phone Privileges In Prison

Since legal troubles began for Diddy, there’s been a lot of discussion about his parties, known as ‘Freak Offs.’ Reports suggest young women were weighed before being hired and, in some cases, pressured into sexual acts for guests. There are also claims that these acts were recorded, and that Diddy provided escorts for the parties. Several people who attended have described a feeling of being constantly watched or on guard.

A lot of the evidence surfaced following Sean Combs’ arrest in September 2024 as part of a federal investigation into sex trafficking. He went to trial from May to July 2025, and the outcome was partially in favor of the prosecution. While Combs was found guilty of two counts related to transporting people for prostitution, he was cleared of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Now that Diddy is in prison, people are wondering how his lawyers will manage his ongoing legal cases. However, current information suggests he won’t be directly involved in the lawsuit filed by Christopher Wallace.
