A recent report from TheWrap confirms that Brainiac, a classic Superman foe, will be the villain in the upcoming “Man of Tomorrow” movie. Fans had long suspected this, especially after James Gunn hinted at the character’s inclusion in the script, and now it’s officially confirmed.

The upcoming movie will reportedly feature an unlikely team-up between Superman and Lex Luthor, and Brainiac will be the villain they must join forces to defeat. According to TheWrap, production is scheduled to begin in April, with filming taking place in Atlanta. The film is currently slated for release in theaters on July 9, 2027.
