The show has been relentlessly focusing on a particular topic this season, and the latest episode may be its most shocking yet. Many viewers have described it as disturbingly graphic, to the point where they wish they hadn’t seen it.
The latest episode of South Park, titled “Sora Not Sorry,” featured the show’s signature blend of political satire and the supernatural, including characters like Trump, JD Vance, Satan, and a demon baby – all presented as commonplace occurrences within the White House. Alongside a storyline about a widespread deepfake problem in South Park, the episode depicted an animated president grappling with the unexpected arrival of Satan’s child.
The meeting with Vance, which started as a serious discussion, took a bizarre turn when Trump and his team moved to the bedroom hot tub. With Foreigner’s “I Want to Know What Love Is” playing in the background, the situation in South Park quickly became problematic.
One X user commented, “I can’t believe I saw that!” Another jokingly blamed South Park for causing future nightmares. A third person compared the scene to a similarly shocking moment from the creators’ earlier film, Team America: World Police, suggesting it was even more outrageous than anything in that movie.
Why ‘South Park’ Has Gone Full Throttle on Trump

Recently, many celebrities have faced criticism for voicing their opinions about the U.S. government. But Parker and Stone, the creators of South Park, have always embraced controversy. They even admitted in a recent New York Times interview that they’re naturally drawn to tackling sensitive or forbidden topics.
In that same interview, the creators shared why this season of South Park feels unusually focused on politics.
We didn’t intentionally try to become political; politics just became part of everyday entertainment. We aim to be fair and poke fun at anyone who holds extreme views, no matter what side they’re on. We’ve been doing this for years – we found the whole ‘woke’ debate really funny, and we find what’s happening now equally amusing.
Everyone often says that a show like South Park couldn’t be created today, but it’s still on the air and thriving. It consistently finds new ways to spark conversation, stay relevant, and keep viewers engaged for many seasons to come. This makes you wonder if anything is truly impossible to create – maybe it just takes courage and the realization that, ultimately, none of it is that important.
