
The comedy series It’s Florida, Man is coming back to HBO after being off the air for a year. Created by Danny McBride and his production company, Rough House Pictures, the show features hilarious and unbelievable true stories from people in Florida. They’re always looking for new stories from locals to use in the series. The first season ended on November 22, 2024.
Good news for fans! HBO has confirmed that season 2 of the series will premiere on Friday, November 28th. Each week, a new episode will air on HBO from 10:00 to 10:30 pm Eastern Time, and all episodes will also be available to stream on HBO Max. The season will have six episodes, with the final one dropping on January 2nd. You can watch the season 2 trailer below!
Season 2 of It’s Florida, Man boasts a fantastic lineup of guest stars, including Adam DeVine, Edi Patterson, Tiffany Haddish, Haley Joel Osment, Bert Kreischer, Nick Swardson, Johnny Knoxville, Shea Whigham, Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Holmes, David Koechner, Joel Kim Booster, Chet Hanks, Milan Carter, Nick Thune, Swoozie Kurtz, Johnny Pemberton, Ryan Mirvis, Brian Sacca, Ping Wu, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Frankie Quiñones, Hassie Harrison, Joseph Ruud, and Michael McDonald.
The first episode, called “Speedy,” centers on a seasoned criminal seeking revenge after Florida authorities seize his dog. He plots his retaliation by planning to steal an entire casino boat. The episode features guest appearances by Whigham, Pemberton, Kreischer, Sacca, Harrison, Rudda, and McDonald.
In the second episode, “Pizza Man,” a man from Pensacola narrowly avoids a very embarrassing situation in a pizza place after a wild night out. The episode stars DeVine, Swardson, Hanks, and Dudley. The third episode, “Cuckoo Girl,” features a woman from Naples getting into legal difficulties due to the side effects of a new drug, and includes appearances by Haddish, Patterson, and Kurtz.
In the fourth episode, titled “Bigfoot,” a man travels to the Everglades with a companion to search for the legendary creature. The episode features actors Osment and Carter. The following episode, “Moonshine,” introduces an amateur moonshiner who stumbles upon a hidden, illegal operation, and stars Thune, Knoxville, and Mervis.
The season 2 finale, titled “Crushed,” follows a young woman from Jacksonville who journeys to Orlando to meet someone she connected with online – a person she sees as her ideal goth boyfriend. However, the meeting doesn’t go as planned and takes a dark turn. The episode features Taika Waititi alongside stars Holmes, Booster, Quiñones, Wu, and Ora.
