Idris Elba will reprise his famous role as the detective he first played on TV fifteen years ago. Following a 2023 movie sequel to the original BBC show, he’s returning to investigate serial killers in London.
I’m so excited to hear that Netflix is making another Luther movie! I was a huge fan of the series, and I’m thrilled that Idris Elba, Dermot Crowley, and Ruth Wilson are all coming back to reprise their roles. Here’s what the movie is about, according to Netflix:
A series of violent, unexplained killings throws London into chaos, and Luther is covertly brought back to work. However, he faces a dangerous situation where many people, from all sides, appear to be trying to kill him – making it difficult to protect the city.
