The 2021 action thriller One Shot, directed by James Nunn, stars Scott Adkins as Lt. Jake Harris, a highly skilled Navy SEAL. He’s tasked with rescuing a prisoner from a secret CIA location to stop a terrorist attack on Washington D.C. What makes One Shot unique is its clever editing, which creates the illusion of a single, unbroken shot – similar to the style of the film Birdman.

First Look At Punisher & Spider-Man In Brand New Day Is What We Expected

And the rumors about Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk going back to his more savage side are really intriguing. Because this story seems like it’s going to be focused on street-level action, I have a feeling the Punisher will be a major player, and I can’t wait to see how Spider-Man and the Punisher interact – that first glimpse was fantastic!

‘The Boondock Saints’ Was Sabotaged Before a Single Scene Was Filmed

Malcolm Duffy looked up to Quentin Tarantino, who had just achieved success at Cannes. Both had backgrounds as bouncers and video store workers in Los Angeles, but their careers took very different paths. By 2000, Tarantino was free to pursue any project he wanted, while Duffy found himself largely unknown after his film failed badly. The atmosphere on set was tense, and as shown in the 2003 documentary Overnight, Willem Dafoe even told Duffy to stay quiet, fearing he would further jeopardize the movie—a sign of the difficulties that Duffy and his film trilogy would face for the next 25 years. Was Duffy’s story simply a lucky break gone wrong, or was it the result of an industry unwilling to support truly innovative filmmakers? The answer is likely a combination of both.
