Similar to another film released this year, If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, Die, My Love offers a disturbing look at motherhood, focusing on a protagonist whose partner is untrustworthy.
The movie’s advertising suggests it’s different from the kind of fan-created stories author Lawrence describes, but longtime fans of The Hunger Games and Twilight might still enjoy it because of this, even though the plot is a bit disturbing.
