Avengers: Doomsday’s Russo Brothers Join John Rambo Prequel Movie

Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors behind the blockbuster hit Avengers: Doomsday, are now involved with a prequel film focusing on the character John Rambo.

Okay, so I just heard some really interesting news! Lionsgate is making a prequel to the Rambo movies, and it’s going to be called John Rambo. Apparently, the director of Sisu, Jalmari Helander, is at the helm, which is awesome. And get this – Noah Centineo, who I really liked in The Recruit, is in talks to play a young John Rambo! The Russos’ production company, AGBO, is taking on the Rambo prequel. Joe and Anthony Russo will be executive producers, and Angela Russo-Otstot and Michael Disco will produce for AGBO.
