The budget for the new movie, Predator: Badlands, is the highest in the entire Predator series. The film tells a unique story, following Dek, a young Predator who’s been exiled and is now hunting an seemingly unkillable creature. Set on a strange alien world, Predator: Badlands will introduce audiences to a variety of dangerous, non-human enemies.
According to a new report from Variety, the production cost of Predator: Badlands was $105 million, making it the most expensive installment in the Predator series. While the film is projected to earn $60 million globally during its opening weekend, this is only about half of the production budget and doesn’t factor in advertising costs.
