The sequel to Zootopia has become a box office hit, surpassing Toy Story 3 in domestic earnings. Both films have grossed around $415 million, but Zootopia 2 currently has a slight lead of $150,000. The animated movie is now aiming to beat The Lion King‘s domestic record of $423 million. However, it’s unlikely to become the highest-grossing animated film overall, as that title currently belongs to 2024’s Inside Out 2, which earned a remarkable $652 million.

Nicolas Cage’s new show, Spider-Noir, is coming to Prime Video on May 27th. All eight episodes of the Marvel series will be available to stream worldwide on that date, featuring Cage as Spider-Man.

I’m completely hooked on this new detective series on Prime Video! It’s become a huge hit all over the world, and it only just came out. Prime Video has been doing really well with thrillers lately – I’ve loved shows like Reacher, The Terminal List, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Before this one, The Night Manager was the last series I really binge-watched on there, but this new show is quickly becoming a favorite!

It’s not unexpected to see popular movies doing well, but it’s surprising that Marty Supreme remains just behind The Housemaid, starring Sydney Sweeney, especially given how incredibly successful Marty Supreme has been and continues to be in theaters. It’s likely Marty Supreme will soon reach number one on the iTunes chart.

Fans recently got a sneak peek at the Savage Hulk, who will appear in the 2026 film Brand New Day. Images of new merchandise, specifically a backpack shared online by X user JuanEditz, revealed Mark Ruffalo’s version of the character. The backpack design shows the Savage Hulk lurking in the shadows behind Spider-Man (played by Tom Holland), along with other villains Spider-Man will battle in the movie.

The new thriller Shelter, now playing in theaters, features Jason Statham in a role that showcases his action skills. He plays a former hitman pulled back into a violent world, alongside Bodhi Rae Breathnach (known from Hamnet), Bill Nighy (of Pirates of the Caribbean), Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice), and Daniel Mays (Rogue One). And, for Statham fans, it’s exactly the kind of film they expect and enjoy.

While the recent big changes to Season 9 haven’t ruined much that was good, some previously logical storylines no longer make sense. The Scrubs revival is going in a different direction, and fans quickly noticed this in the first trailer. They’ve been hoping it was a mistake, but the latest trailer confirms the changes are intentional.

After directing Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen, Ric Roman Waugh took the helm for 2019’s Angel Has Fallen. This installment features Mike Banning as a fugitive after being wrongly accused of trying to kill the President. Angel Has Fallen particularly split opinions – audiences enjoyed seeing Banning back in action, but critics generally found the film unremarkable.

The second part of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black Season 2 will begin streaming on March 19, 2026. The first part, which had eight episodes, premiered on September 11, 2025, and this second part will also have eight episodes.
