The story follows a man desperately trying to win over his crush. He breaks a mysterious object called the “One Wish Willow” and gets what he wants, but soon discovers the consequences are terrifying and come at a dreadful cost. Obsession will be released on May 15th.

The comedic Australian series Deadloch, created by Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney, recently released its second season on Prime Video to positive reviews. The show, which premiered in 2023 and was a critical hit, follows characters Dulcie Collins (played by Kate Box), Cath York (Alicia Gardiner), and Eddie Redcliffe (Madeline Sami). Prime Video plans to continue the series as part of its 2026 programming.

Snodgrass shared on her blog that Gene Roddenberry almost scrapped the Star Trek: Discovery episode because he believed lawyers wouldn’t exist in the future. These shows, the ones with truly original ideas, are incredibly creative and offer a lot more than just a cool premise. What’s amazing is that they don’t get old—every time I rewatch them, I discover new things to appreciate. They really hold up over time.
