I was so excited to see the new trailer! It looks like the Minions are heading to the Wild West, searching for a new villain to work for. But instead of finding a typical bad guy, it seems like they’re causing total mayhem – and it looks hilarious! This feels like a really fun, fresh take on the franchise.

Paramount is creating a new comedy series called Flint, starring Matt LeBlanc. He’ll play a Los Angeles detective nearing retirement who’s unexpectedly asked to work for five more years. Instead of accepting, he tries to get fired by ignoring the rules, but his rebellious behavior surprisingly makes him a more effective officer.
It’s hard to picture anyone else playing these roles now. Just as Warwick Davis is Professor Flitwick, Toby Jones perfectly embodies Dobby. If HBO Max brings Davis on board for their Harry Potter series, hopefully they’ll also consider Jones to reprise his iconic voice role as Dobby the Elf.

I’m a huge anime fan, and one thing I really love is when a series throws you a curveball with an arc that’s totally different from the rest. It’s amazing when a fast-paced action show suddenly slows down for a peaceful interlude, or vice versa! What makes these arcs so special isn’t necessarily that they’re better than other parts of the story, but that they feel completely unique. They almost break the established rules of the world, stripping away the usual tropes and letting the story explore something new, even if just for a little while. Then, just as quickly, everything returns to normal, and that contrast is what makes it so impactful to me.
