As a huge Chicago Fire fan, I already knew from the previews that Matthew Pascal was coming back, even after his tough exit from the CFD. It’s also a bit bittersweet knowing this will be Andrea Newman’s last episode as showrunner – Victor Teran is taking over from here on out, which will be a big change.

Unable to confess his feelings, he uses a product called “One Wish Willow” hoping she’ll return his affection. But his wish quickly backfires, turning his dream into a frightening reality.
After some criticism that season 5 of The Boys was moving too slowly, episode 7 really turned things around, pushing the story towards its climax and featuring a major character death. The season started strong, but then slowed down to focus on individual storylines and the team’s plan to take down Homelander.

As a huge fan of passionate, sweeping romances, I remember when the recent Wuthering Heights adaptation came out, it sparked a lot of debate. Plus, there was valid criticism about the lack of diversity, especially casting Heathcliff – who’s described as having dark skin in the book – with a white actor. Despite the issues, it definitely stirred up strong feelings, and thankfully, there’s no shortage of other intense, romantic films out there if you’re looking for that same kind of heat!
Although comparisons to the popular show Derry Girls are inevitable, How to Get to Heaven From Belfast brings its own distinct and darkly comedic voice to the story. What truly makes the show stand out is that it’s consistently engaging. It immediately grabs your attention with a past secret revealed within the first few minutes, and it balances a compelling murder mystery with the strong bonds between its characters. The chemistry between the friends is just as important as solving the crime.
As a huge fan of zombie flicks, I’ve seen a lot of great ones over the years! Titles like Zombieland, 28 Days Later, Dawn of the Dead, and Train to Busan are always at the top of my list. What I love is that there really is something for everyone in the genre. Even though it’s not currently having its biggest moment, we still get some genuinely thrilling releases every year. Of course, for a whole decade, The Walking Dead was the face of zombies – it really dominated the scene!
While “Geriaction” films – movies starring older action heroes – are popular, few have become long-running franchises. The John Wick series is the biggest success story, partly because Keanu Reeves was already 50 when the first film came out. Bob Odenkirk has found success with the Nobody films, and Jason Statham recently starred in The Beekeeper, both showcasing action heroes later in their careers.
It looks like everyone could be eliminated, one after another. However, there’s one character who seems destined to survive – and it’s not Homelander. He won’t be spared due to some grand plan or fan demand. Instead, his ultimate punishment will be to simply live with the consequences of his actions. He’ll be forced to grapple with everything he’s done, realizing it was all for a pointless cause that will never offer him any reward.
As a huge fan of The Adventures of Tintin, I was thrilled to hear Peter Jackson dropped some exciting news at Cannes! Apparently, he and Fran Walsh are actively working on a new script for a sequel. He even shared on X (formerly Twitter) that he was writing it during the festival! He seems genuinely excited to be returning to that world, and honestly, that makes me so happy. It’s the best news for Tintin fans in ages!
