The first two episodes of the new HBO Max series Heated Rivalry feature explicit sexual content, and have sparked discussion about the casting choices. Some have questioned why queer actors weren’t chosen to play LGBTQ+ characters. In a recent interview with Xtra, the show’s creator, Jacob Tierney, responded to questions about the sexual orientation of the lead actors, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.

Robert Downey Jr. is confirmed to star as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. However, there’s been no news about him returning as Tony Stark or any version of Iron Man in that film. Interestingly, Marvel has recently launched a different Avengers project – one that isn’t connected to the main MCU storyline, but does introduce the actor who will officially take over the role of Iron Man.

Currently, the top movie on Prime Video globally is She Rides Shotgun, based on Jordan Harper’s 2017 novel. Released in August, the film features Taron Egerton as Nate Mcclusky, a man recently out of prison. In the United States, it’s also the third most-streamed movie on MGM+.

The next Five Nights at Freddy’s movie will bring back some actors from the first film, but it will also feature new characters to keep the story fresh. The sequel is scheduled to hit theaters on December 5, 2025. If the release pattern is similar to the first movie, it should become available for streaming soon after. Universal Pictures is hoping for a big theatrical release, though, rather than relying on streaming numbers to define its success.

Fans can now reserve their tickets for the final Stranger Things episodes, which will be shown in select movie theaters on December 31st and January 1st. These screenings will begin at 8pm Eastern Time / 5pm Pacific Time at over 500 theaters across the United States and Canada – the same time the episodes become available to stream on Netflix.

For months, rumors have been circulating, and now it’s confirmed: the popular animated series Bluey is coming to Walt Disney World! Starting in the summer of 2026, guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be able to meet Bluey and Bingo at a new experience in Conservation Station. It will include games, dancing, and chances to interact with the characters, all inspired by the show.

Director Guillermo del Toro, along with stars Jacob Elordi and Oscar Isaac from his horror-sci-fi film, started his acceptance speech by paying tribute to Mary Shelley, the author of the original Frankenstein novel. He shared that he first read the book at age 11 and immediately knew he wanted to make a movie version of it.
