I haven’t managed to see every new documentary out there – some didn’t play in my local theaters and others aren’t hitting streaming services until next year. But I’ve seen enough to know that a lot of them are truly powerful. Here are 10 that I think will stay with me for a long, long time…

Among Stephen King’s works in 2025, this stood out as a fan favorite. That year also saw the release of popular titles like The Life of Chuck and It: Welcome to Derry. The Long Walk is scheduled to debut on Starz on January 10, 2026.

It’s a truly special drama, featuring one of the best on-screen couples and a moving, bittersweet story.

Universal Pictures has announced that the movie Wicked: For Good will be available to rent or buy digitally starting Tuesday, December 30, 2025—perfect timing for New Year’s celebrations! The digital release will also include a special sing-along version and deleted scenes that haven’t been seen before.
