Okay, so I just heard some awesome news! Lucasfilm is dropping a new Star Wars comic series in April called Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Echoes of the Empire. It’s gonna follow Luke, Leia, and Chewie as they head to Batuu – you know, the planet from Galaxy’s Edge at Disney – to find this lost Jedi Holocron. It’s a five-issue series written by Ethan Sacks, with art by Jethor Morales and Roi Mercado. The cool part? It takes place between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi! I’m already hyped. They even showed off some of the cover art for the first issue by Phil Noto – it looks amazing!

I didn’t have issues with how “28 Years Later” looked. Danny Boyle did a great job of showing a bleak, broken-down world and the terrifying things living within it. My problem was with the messy and hurried ending. Even more damaging was the unbelievable way the film concluded – it actually detracted from the experience and didn’t feel like a good setup for a sequel.

Horror movies are still incredibly popular, and several successful franchises have recently released new installments. Notably, the world of 28 Days Later is expanding with two new films: 28 Years Later has already been released, and The Bone Temple comes out this weekend. Directed by Nia DaCosta, The Bone Temple features a return by original actor Cillian Murphy, and DaCosta recently shared details with TopMob about his exciting cameo – which is truly surprising!

As a huge spy thriller fan, I’ve been loving how consistently good and reliably released the Gary Oldman series Slow Horses has been. It’s got a fantastic cast, and I always know I’m in for a treat each season. But now, it’s great to see another really well-made spy series gaining traction as a streaming hit – more good stuff for us fans!

According to FlixPatrol, the action thriller starring Jason Statham is doing very well in the Middle East and North Africa, especially on the STARZ streaming service. It reached number one in Algeria, Morocco, and Oman in the last week and appeared in the top rankings in a total of ten countries.
