The new series, Amadeus, features Will Sharpe (known from The White Lotus), Paul Bettany (a familiar face from the Marvel Cinematic Universe), and Gabrielle Creevy (Black Doves). Sharpe stars as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, arriving in Vienna and captivating everyone with his musical talent. Paul Bettany plays Antonio Salieri, a court composer who forms a close bond with Mozart, but whose growing obsession ultimately consumes him. Gabrielle Creevy portrays Constanze Weber, Mozart’s wife, who observes the events leading to his tragic and possibly premature death.

Holly Hunter, who voices Elastigirl in the Incredibles movies, recently shared an update on Incredibles 3 with Screen Rant. While promoting her work on Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Hunter revealed she’s expected to start recording her lines for the sequel in March. She hasn’t seen the script yet, but will receive it when she begins recording. She didn’t share any details about what the movie will be about.

Currently, Shadow Force is the third most popular movie on Prime Video in the U.S., but you need a Starz subscription to watch it. It’s behind only Trap House and The Tank, which has been a big hit this month. Despite this, Shadow Force is the top movie on Prime Video in countries like Argentina and Brazil.

Warner Bros. is continuing the popular Conjuring film series with a new installment scheduled for release in 2027. Titled The Conjuring: First Communion, the movie is set to hit theaters on September 10, 2027. Rodrigue Huart will direct the film, working from a screenplay by Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg. Details about the story and who will star in the movie have not yet been revealed.

Despite remaining in theaters, Avatar 3 has finished first in US box office numbers for the past four weeks, though it’s currently earning less than previous Avatar movies. According to Screendollars, as of January 11th, Fire & Ash had made 80% and 66% respectively of the domestic earnings of the first Avatar and The Way of Water at the same point in their release. This weekend’s release of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is predicted to knock Avatar 3 from the top spot, while the previous films in the series each stayed number one for seven weeks.

In 2022, Lucasfilm was also working on a live-action series about Abner Ravenwood, a character mentioned in Raiders of the Lost Ark as the father of Marion Ravenwood and a mentor to Indiana Jones. It’s unknown if either this series or the one about Regé-Jean Page were canceled, but it’s probable both projects were paused before the release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in 2023.
