Netflix is creating a follow-up to the popular Norwegian series La Palma, currently titled Florida. This new series will be a completely separate story, not a continuation of the original. La Palma attracted 70.3 million views within its first 91 days, and Netflix announced the sequel at the Nordic Media Days event in Bergen. Florida is scheduled to be released in 2027.

With only one episode left in its final season, Outlander focused on resolving some long-standing conflicts. William recently arrived at Fraser’s Ridge to deal with the emotional fallout of learning secrets kept by Lord John Grey. His visit allowed him to finally confront Jamie about their difficult relationship, leading to a degree of understanding. However, both he and Lord John still have issues to work through.

I was immediately hooked by Peacock’s new thriller, M.I.A. It opens with a shocking scene: Shannon Gisela, playing Etta, witnesses her entire family—smugglers working for a dangerous drug cartel—being killed after a deal goes wrong. It’s a fast-paced ride from the start.

Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced that the new series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is performing exceptionally well, becoming one of HBO’s most popular new shows ever. He shared that the first season is currently averaging 36 million viewers worldwide per episode – surpassing the 20 million average for the second season of The Pitt.

I’ve really noticed in season two of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage that the Cooper family is much more involved than they were in the first season. We’re seeing Mary pop up quite a bit, and even Missy, Meemaw, Dale, and Pastor Jeff have significant roles. But really, the show is still about Georgie and Mandy figuring out their life together, and what they want as individuals. That being said, there’s a storyline that keeps happening that’s starting to bother me, and I worry it could hurt the show if they don’t address it soon.

DC Comics has occasionally heavily promoted these characters, featuring them prominently in major storylines and even making them core members of their top superhero teams. However, DC consistently failed to fully support them long-term, squandering their potential and often replacing them with characters who didn’t perform as well.
