As a film fan, I have to say James Cameron’s career is legendary. He’s constantly pushing boundaries with technology, and it’s no surprise he’s directed three of the biggest blockbusters ever made! Everyone knows Avatar, of course – it’s a massive franchise – but he’s also responsible for films like Titanic, The Terminator, and Aliens, all of which are classics. What’s really interesting is that his newest film is the first one in over 17 years that isn’t part of the Avatar story.

From the beginning of the Legends series, it’s clear that Britain didn’t seriously address the growing heroin crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s until the children of influential people started becoming affected. Only then was a special team created – a group of regular customs officers brought together and trained by a former undercover agent, a character depicted as Don in the Netflix show and played by Steve Coogan.

The latest season of Daredevil finished airing a little over two months ago, and many Marvel fans were hoping to see Spider-Man and Daredevil team up in the next Spider-Man movie. However, the way the Born Again season ended makes that crossover very unlikely.

I’m still excited for a full trailer, but it sounds like Avengers: Doomsday is going to be another huge, universe-level threat our heroes need to tackle. Honestly, when the whole multiverse is at risk, it’s hard to make things feel even more dangerous! And from what I’ve seen, it totally works!

While the movie was popular, it didn’t become a blockbuster.

This week, the first two Equalizer movies are performing very well on Prime Video, ranking among the platform’s most-streamed films. Data from FlixPatrol shows the original 2014 Equalizer at No. 3 in the U.S. on May 6th, with the 2018 sequel, The Equalizer 2, at No. 10. The next day, The Equalizer 2 jumped up to No. 2, while the original film moved down to eighth place. The newest movie, The Equalizer 3, isn’t on Prime Video – it’s currently available to stream on Hulu and Disney+.

Darth Maul initially seemed like a one-and-done villain, with a brief appearance and dramatic defeat in The Phantom Menace. However, he unexpectedly returned in the Clone Wars and Rebels animated series, where his character was significantly expanded. Now, he’s leading his own animated show, which has received overwhelmingly positive reviews – a 98% critic score and 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

As a huge sci-fi fan, it’s awesome seeing the genre blow up right now, and it got me thinking about some shows that didn’t get the love they deserved. I seriously think everyone should revisit Blade Runner: Black Lotus – it’s fantastic. Almost Human was a fun, lighter take on the usual sci-fi stuff. And Devs, with Nick Offerman of all people, really surprised me and deserved more buzz. But honestly, the biggest snub has to be Continuum. That show ran for four seasons and is the ultimate cyberpunk time travel series – it’s a shame more people didn’t see it!
