If you couldn’t make it to the escape rooms or missed seeing it back in cinemas, there’s still a way to relive the adventure. You can get a brand new LEGO set inspired by the movie, starring the incredible Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly – it’s the perfect way to celebrate a timeless hero!

The DeLorean LEGO Set Price And Release Date

The LEGO DeLorean Time Machine set isn’t available for preorder yet, but it will be released on January 1, 2026. This 357-piece set is designed for builders ages 9 and up and will cost $27.99, plus shipping and taxes.

Unlike some other iconic movie sets we’ve featured lately – like the incredible pirate ship from The Goonies – this Back to the Future set is very affordable, making it accessible to everyone. If you’re already planning how to spend your holiday money, this is a great option to consider.

Despite Its Small Stature, This Back To The Future Set Packs A Mean Punch

This DeLorean model, like the one from Back to the Future, is relatively small, but it’s surprisingly detailed and fun. Though it only measures about four inches tall, six-and-a-half inches long, and two-and-a-half inches wide, this sleek time machine can be configured to look like the version from either Back to the Future or Back to the Future Part II, offering lots of possibilities for playing or putting it on display.

My son is almost old enough for this set, and we’re both really excited about it. I plan to order it as soon as pre-orders open so we can build it together while watching Back to the Future – maybe he’ll actually understand it this time!

There’s Also A More Complex (And Expensive) Alternative

This isn’t the only LEGO DeLorean available. LEGO also offers a larger, more detailed, and pricier Time Machine set as part of its Icons collection.

This set is huge, containing 1872 pieces – including the famous car Michael J. Fox didn’t enjoy driving, plus extra details and two minifigures of the movie’s main characters. However, the Marty McFly minifigure from the smaller, cheaper set actually looks better than the one in this larger, more expensive set, particularly his vest.
