A detail some viewers may not have noticed was the show’s impressive recreation of a set from Young Sheldon, which even prompted a reaction from Montana Jordan.

The team behind the show Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage recently rebuilt the dining room from the Cooper family home, exactly as it appeared on Young Sheldon. Montana Jordan discussed the impressive set recreation in an interview with TVLine, expressing his admiration for the work of his fellow crew members.

It’s amazing how seamless the transition has been. Everything you saw on ‘Young Sheldon’ has been recreated on a new set, and they did such a great job that it looks exactly the same. It really feels like they’re still filming in the same place.

I completely understand what Montana Jordan was saying. I actually thought the sets from Young Sheldon were saved and reused for scenes at the Cooper house. It makes me wonder if the team working on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage wished they had those original sets, since rebuilding the Cooper house stage must have been challenging.

The episode focused on Mary’s love life, and we were introduced to the man she’s dating. Georgie was initially bothered by this, but he realized how happy it made his mother and decided to support her, even if he didn’t fully agree.

If Mary’s relationship lasts, we might see more scenes filmed at the Cooper family’s house, which is great for keeping her and Missy involved in the show, as Montana Jordan has said.

It’s always wonderful when members of the Cooper family return to set. We had a strong, family-like atmosphere while working on that show, and we’ve recreated that here, so we’re always happy to have them back.

Most of the Cooper family has already been seen on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, but fans are still hoping to see Iain Armitage make a guest appearance as young Sheldon. The show’s cast has hinted at the possibility, but it’s still unclear if and when he’ll be on the show.

It would be great to see a detailed recreation, but I understand if the production team prioritizes the parts of the Cooper house they’ve already constructed.

With Georgie and Mandy dealing with the challenges of their new marriage – like Mandy’s rising fame and Georgie’s struggles with the tire shop – it might be difficult to fit Sheldon into the show. However, there’s still a chance the writers could find a way to include him!
