The original Ghost Rider first appeared in 1947 in supernatural western comics published by Magazine Enterprises. The story followed Rex Fury, a gunslinger caught between life and death, who was trained by the spirits of famous Old West lawmen. They equipped him with a white costume and horse, allowing him to continue fighting crime as the Ghost Rider. Twenty years later, after the original copyright expired, Marvel Comics brought the character back with a new identity: Carter Slade.

The first season of the show brilliantly depicted how past trauma can destroy a powerful family. As Rhaenyra matured, her close friend, Alicent Hightower, turned against her, having been raised with the expectation of marrying the king. When Alicent had sons, a conflict arose over who should inherit the throne, setting the stage for a devastating civil war. The first season concluded with a power grab by the Green Council, stripping Rhaenyra of her rightful claim. While fans eagerly anticipated the second season, it unfortunately marked a downturn in quality.

The new *Thunderbolts* movie excited fans with the promise of a fresh direction, but it also left some plot points unclear, sped through others, and didn’t address established storylines. Despite these confusing elements, fans are still enjoying the film. Luckily, Marvel Studios has the opportunity to clarify things in future installments, which could make the movie even more satisfying the second time around.

Deniz Camp, the writer behind *Ultimates* and *Ultimate Incursion*, has become frustrated with the amount of guesswork surrounding his current project. He recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to directly address the widespread speculation, and didn’t mince words.

While *Legends: Z-A* introduced exciting new features like real-time battles, it didn’t quite meet today’s gaming expectations, and it didn’t feel as innovative as *Arceus*. For a long time, fans have excused flaws in *Pokémon* games due to their strong loyalty, but eventually, that tolerance will likely fade. Fans deserve a higher quality experience, and Nintendo and The Pokémon Company need to fix these problems before it impacts the franchise’s popularity.

Recently, Disney World announced significant updates to two rides at Epcot – one of which is also available at Disneyland. I have mixed feelings about these changes; I’m really looking forward to one, but the other is a bit disappointing.

Final Fantasy 9 is the last remaining unannounced game from a large list discovered in a 2021 data leak of NVIDIA GeForce Now. The leak revealed many titles, and most have since been officially confirmed – including remakes of Final Fantasy Tactics and Chrono Cross, and even Kingdom Hearts 4. Final Fantasy 9 is the only title from that list that hasn’t been formally announced yet.

According to data from Antenna, both Disney+ and Hulu experienced more cancellations in September. Disney+ saw its churn rate double, jumping from 4% in August to 8% in September. Hulu also saw a significant increase, with cancellations rising from 5% to 10% over the same period.

Production is underway for the next Spider-Man movie, currently titled Spider-Man 4 or Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and the film will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
