Wanted Dead or Alive Is Still the Best Gunslinger Show in TV History

Steve McQueen is famous for many roles, but his part in the TV show Wanted: Dead or Alive is often overlooked. The series followed bounty hunter Josh Randall as he traveled the country helping people in need. It was a unique Western that moved away from typical TV shows of the time and helped launch McQueen’s career as a leading actor.

Bitter Christmas Review: Pedro Almodóvar’s Thorny Meta-Drama Finds Novelty In Repetition

That’s why I generally advise against people trying to imitate my approach – but Pedro Almodóvar’s newest film, Amarga Navidad, might be an even more difficult starting point. While he’s used autobiographical elements in films like Pain and Glory before, this movie is actually about that process – exploring what it means to be an aging, successful artist constantly searching for fresh inspiration after exploring so much of their own life. The film’s complex, self-aware layers are best understood if you’re familiar with his other work, particularly Pain and Glory. Though it would still be lovely and captivating without that background, I worry the powerful impact of the ending – the part that elevates Bitter Christmas from good to truly great – wouldn’t be as strong.

Avengers: Doomsday Is A “Complete Reinvention” For Tony Stark & Steve Rogers’ “Unresolved” Dynamic, Teases Russo Brothers

I’m so excited for Avengers: Doomsday! It sounds like they’re pulling characters from everywhere in the MCU – heroes and villains from both the Infinity Saga and the Multiverse Saga, plus even characters from the old Fox Marvel movies like the X-Men. But the biggest news for me? Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. are both coming back! It’s going to be amazing to see them share the screen again, even though Robert is playing Doctor Doom this time and Chris is reprising his role as Captain America. I can’t wait to see how their characters interact in this new story.

Fan Hype Is Officially Destroying GTA 6

Everyone assumes GTA 6 will be a fantastic game, and it probably will be. The more interesting question is whether the years of anticipation, the endless online speculation, and Rockstar’s careful lack of communication have created so much hype that the game itself can’t possibly live up to it.

Apple TV’s 87% Masterpiece Officially Resurrected Hard Sci-Fi for the 2020s

I’ve always been fascinated by Asimov, especially his Foundation series. It’s amazing to me that even though he was a chemist and biochemist, the books weren’t really about science in that way. Psychohistory felt more like statistics and sociology, and the futuristic tech was pretty basic – atomic power and faster-than-light travel. Honestly, I think the TV show does a better job with the science. They’ve really built on the technology, made it more complex and diverse, and tried to make it feel scientifically plausible, which I appreciate.

The Testaments Season 2’s Fate Officially Decided By Hulu

Hulu has announced that The Testaments will return for a second season. All 3 Major The Boys Series Finale Deaths & Comic Comparisons Explained By Creator

Eric Kripke, the creator of The Boys, has detailed the reasoning behind the significant deaths in the series finale, how they came about, and how they relate to the original comic book. The fifth season culminated in a showdown between the heroes and Homelander inside the Oval Office. During the battle, Kimiko used her newfound abilities to remove the Compound V or V-One from everyone’s system. Homelander, desperate and on his knees, pleaded for his life, but Butcher ultimately killed him by tearing off his head with a crowbar.

Solo Is The Perfect Star Wars Movie To Rewatch Before The Mandalorian & Grogu

The first three Star Wars films released by Disney were huge successes, each earning over $1 billion worldwide, and even the standalone film Rogue One did well. However, Solo: A Star Wars Story wasn’t successful, making less than $400 million despite costing around $365 million to produce. This may have been due to lukewarm reviews and the mixed reaction to The Last Jedi. As a result, Disney decided to pause making Star Wars movies for theaters after The Rise of Skywalker.
