‘The Rockford Files’ Reboot Gets NBC Pilot Order

I’ve always been a huge fan of The Rockford Files, and it’s incredible to think it was on NBC for six seasons, from 1974 to 1980! Created by Roy Huggins and Stephen J. Cannell, and starring the amazing James Garner, the show followed Jim Rockford after he was wrongly convicted and spent five years in San Quentin. Once he was pardoned, he started a new life as a private investigator, working right out of his trailer in Malibu. I’m really excited about this new take on the story, where Rockford trying to rebuild his life after prison puts him right in the middle of trouble with both the police and the criminal underworld in Los Angeles.

Robert Pattinson Has A Role In Marty Supreme That I Never Would Have Clocked

Robert Pattinson is usually very noticeable in films, even with small parts. However, when I learned he was in Marty Supreme, I couldn’t remember seeing him at all. That’s because he doesn’t actually appear on screen physically. The director, Safdie, recently shared at a BFI Southbank event (as reported by Variety) how he came up with the role for the Batman star.

His & Hers Gives Marvel’s Jon Bernthal & Tessa Thompson The Perfect Team-Up

The Netflix series based on the book was a faithful and thrilling adaptation, capturing all the suspense, drama, and unexpected turns of the original story. This helped it quickly become the platform’s most popular show in the US. Beyond the strong writing and captivating atmosphere, the series also benefited from excellent performances by its two lead actors.

Prime Video Hit Fantasy Good Omens Finally Gets an Update

The fantasy comedy series first aired in 2019, adapted from the 1990 novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Following accusations of sexual assault against Gaiman, he stepped away from the show, and work on the third season was halted. Instead, it was released as a single, feature-length finale. After two years of inactivity, the show’s official social media account finally posted an update.

Ponies Review: Emilia Clarke’s Throwback Cold War Spy Thriller-Dramedy Mostly Works

Starring Emilia Clarke, known from Game of Thrones, and with a strong performance by Haley Lu Richardson, Ponies offers a fun and unusual take on the spy genre. Creators Susana Fogel and David Isherwood aimed to capture the spirit of classic spy films – those made before the rise of streaming services – and present a fresh perspective, particularly in a field historically dominated by male leads.

‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ to Be Updated With Classic Characters

While the detailed environment was enjoyable, it created a challenge. Fans who weren’t deeply familiar with Star Wars and were hoping to see iconic characters like Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader often left disappointed. The park adhered very closely to the established storyline, meaning characters who had died, like Darth Vader, couldn’t appear in The Force Awakens timeline. Chewbacca was the main exception – since he appeared in both the original and newer films, it made sense for him to be present and interacting around the Millennium Falcon with Rey.
