According to Deadline, Westworld is being revived after being canceled by HBO. The new version will be a reboot of the original 1973 film directed by Michael Crichton, focusing on a futuristic theme park where guests interact with realistic robots in a Wild West setting. Screenwriter David Koepp is heading the project.

According to Deadline, eight new actors have joined the cast of the upcoming X-Files reboot in guest roles. The new additions include Academy Award winner Amy Madigan, known for her work in Weapons, along with Steve Buscemi, Devery Jacobs, Lochlyn Munro, Tantoo Cardinal, Joel D. Montgrad, and Sofia Grace Clifton. As of now, details about their characters in the reboot, created by Coogler, have not been released.
