The Punisher: One Last Kill Set Up the X-Men’s Jean Grey

I’m so hyped for Destin Daniel Cretton’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day! It’s coming out July 31, 2026, and it’s going to be amazing seeing Spider-Man – Tom Holland, of course – team up with the Punisher, Frank Castle, in his first PG-13 Marvel adventure. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), MJ and Ned (Zendaya and Jacob Batalon), and Sheila Rivera (Zabryna Guevara) will be there too, which is already awesome. But honestly, the biggest buzz right now is a new fan theory about a character we might have already met in the MCU!

25 Years Later, James Van Der Beek’s 90-Minute Western Flop Finally Finds Streaming Redemption

Surprisingly, the movie Texas Rangers has climbed into the Top 10 most-watched films on Paramount+, currently sitting at No. 6 (according to FlixPatrol). This streaming success comes 25 years after the film performed poorly in theaters, earning less than $764,000 despite a $38 million budget. It’s also worth noting that Texas Rangers received a very low 2% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

How Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War Keeps His 42-Year-Old Hero Feeling Fresh Explained By Director & Stars

This movie continues the story from the popular Prime Video series. Picking up right after the show’s finale, it follows John Krasinski’s character as he’s called back to investigate a secret, dangerous operation involving a rogue military unit. In Ghost War, Jack teams up with familiar faces – Mike November, James Greer, and a new MI6 agent, Emma Marlowe – to stop the threat and deal with past betrayals.

The Boys Series Finale Confirms Homelander’s Greatest Weakness

Okay, so watching Homelander finally lose his powers was… complicated. Part of me was cheering, honestly, because he’d been such a jerk for so long. But then it got really awkward to watch! Kimiko hitting him with that radiation, taking away everything he was born with, set up this huge fight with Butcher, and Homelander just completely broke down. He was begging for his life, even offering… well, it was disturbing, let’s just say that. But the really scary thing was realizing what truly terrified him just before all that went down.

Netflix’s Cliff Booth Movie Sets IMAX Release Date

Netflix revealed that a follow-up to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, currently known as The Adventures of Cliff Booth, will first be shown in IMAX theaters for two weeks starting November 25th. It will then become available on Netflix on December 23rd, perfect for holiday viewing.

Only 3 90s Western Movies Are As Good As Tombstone

Despite a somewhat uneven period for Westerns, Tombstone stands out as one of the most beloved films of the 1990s. More importantly, the decade saw a renewed interest in Westerns, resulting in both popular cult films and critically acclaimed successes. While Tombstone is exceptional, several other films offer equally compelling stories of cowboys and frontier life that remain worth watching today.

Chris Pratt’s $303M ‘Titanic Meets Gravity’ Space Sci-Fi Officially Releases On Netflix In Just 2 Weeks

Chris Pratt first gained popularity playing the charming Andy Dwyer on the TV show Parks and Recreation (2009–2015). He’s since become a major movie star, known for roles like Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy films (2014–2023) and Owen Grady in the Jurassic World series (2015–2022). He’s also starred in action movies like The Magnificent Seven (2016) and The Tomorrow War (2021), and now another one of his science fiction films is coming to streaming services.

Wanted Dead or Alive Is Still the Best Gunslinger Show in TV History

Steve McQueen is famous for many roles, but his part in the TV show Wanted: Dead or Alive is often overlooked. The series followed bounty hunter Josh Randall as he traveled the country helping people in need. It was a unique Western that moved away from typical TV shows of the time and helped launch McQueen’s career as a leading actor.

Bitter Christmas Review: Pedro Almodóvar’s Thorny Meta-Drama Finds Novelty In Repetition

That’s why I generally advise against people trying to imitate my approach – but Pedro Almodóvar’s newest film, Amarga Navidad, might be an even more difficult starting point. While he’s used autobiographical elements in films like Pain and Glory before, this movie is actually about that process – exploring what it means to be an aging, successful artist constantly searching for fresh inspiration after exploring so much of their own life. The film’s complex, self-aware layers are best understood if you’re familiar with his other work, particularly Pain and Glory. Though it would still be lovely and captivating without that background, I worry the powerful impact of the ending – the part that elevates Bitter Christmas from good to truly great – wouldn’t be as strong.
