This British TV show changed the game for teen dramas by honestly portraying the messiness of adolescence. Over seven seasons, it followed different groups of teenagers as they navigated difficult and sometimes devastating experiences – including drugs, parties, relationships, mental health struggles, and broken friendships – much like the show Euphoria. Skins is considered one of the most realistic and impactful teen shows ever made, offering a raw and often uncomfortable look at the challenges of growing up.

The TV show Marshals premiered late in the 2025-2026 season and quickly became a hit, rising to the top of the ratings. As the most-watched new show on network television, it’s no surprise CBS quickly renewed it for a second season. This allowed the first season to end with a bold finale, “Wolves at the Door,” which revisited the show’s *Yellowstoneinspired origins by focusing on land disputes in Montana and revealed the true antagonists – the Weavers.

Gothic horror, whether it’s reimagining 19th-century stories or offering fresh takes on iconic figures like Dracula, consistently delivers a winning combination of scares, romance, and mood. Even when focusing solely on the horror elements, it’s still challenging to pick the very best examples within this genre.

A key part of what makes The Dark Knight so compelling is the enigma surrounding his true identity, prompting both allies and enemies to speculate about the person beneath the mask. Even those aware of his secret often struggle to separate Bruce Wayne from Batman. But for one major villain, this has never been an issue, solidifying him as Batman’s ultimate opposite for decades.

It’s easy to see why The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring remains so popular and enchanting – we still enjoy rewatching it year after year. However, there are other fantasy stories with even more fascinating magic systems and more complex characters that deserve to be adapted into films, and arguably should have been made sooner.

Rob Liefeld recently shared on social media that he believes the quick decline in popularity of the House of X/Powers of X series happened because the most interesting part of the story was put on hold after author Claire North (of The First 15 Lives of Harry August) raised concerns about potential plagiarism. She pointed out that writer Jonathan Hickman had previously expressed his admiration for her book.

Currently, Season 9 of Rick and Morty has a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While this score might change as more reviews come in, it’s the highest-rated season of the show so far. Previous seasons have received excellent scores, but none have reached 100%. Season 1 is the next highest with 97%, and Seasons 3 and 4 both scored 96%. This is a significant improvement over Season 8, which received a score of 93%.
