Katee Sackhoff Threw Back To BSG, The Mandalorian, And All The Times She ‘Was Basically A Halloween’ Costume (And There Are Lots)

Katee Sackhoff is a familiar face to fans of science fiction, fantasy, and superhero genres, thanks to a variety of memorable roles. While many know her as Kara “Starbuck” Thrace from Battlestar Galactica, she’s also become well-known as Bo-Katan Kryze, a character she’s played since its animated origins and continuing into live-action Star Wars series. She’s even appeared in the DC universe as Amunet Black on The CW’s The Flash. By 2025, Sackhoff will have played enough diverse characters for fans to have plenty of favorites to choose from.

The actress had fun with Halloween this year by sharing photos of outfits she’s worn for work that also look like costumes. I was surprised by how many she had! She’ll always be Starbuck to me, and it’s amazing to see all the looks she put together. Check them out:

If you’re planning a Katee Sackhoff-inspired Halloween costume, you have a few options ranging in complexity. Her outfit from Longmire is probably the easiest to put together quickly. As a huge movie fan, I always love hearing behind-the-scenes stories. Apparently, Jonathan Frakes – you know, the iconic guy from Star Trek – had an idea for another amazing costume, perfect for Halloween!

If anyone could get a role on Star Trek, Jonathan Frakes would be a strong contender. He’s famous for playing Commander Riker on The Next Generation, and he’s also directed many episodes throughout the entire Star Trek series.

People left a lot of comments on the photos, and I was really surprised by how much love the show Longmire received. I knew it had a dedicated fanbase (and you can stream it now with Paramount+), but I always thought she was more popular for her science fiction roles.
