Be warned, this article contains spoilers from the recent episode of The Kardashians, titled “She Was Such a Hater.” The episode originally aired on October 30, 2025, and is available to watch on Hulu.
Caitlyn Jenner was a significant part of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E!, especially during her transition in 2015, which had a big impact on the whole family. So, it’s surprising that she hadn’t been seen on Hulu’s The Kardashians – until now. She first appeared in Season 7, Episode 2, titled “She Was Such a Hater,” where Kendall and Kylie Jenner discussed how their parents currently interact with each other.
Considering the history between Caitlyn and Kris Jenner, it’s interesting that the episode’s title doesn’t refer to either of them—everyone behaved well during their heartfelt reunion. Kris brought all her children together for a final dinner at the family’s original home, the one viewers know from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and she shared that it wouldn’t have felt right without Caitlyn being there as well.

Honestly, I was pretty shocked when Caitlyn showed up – the whole situation felt a little uncomfortable to me, if I’m being real. But Kendall later said she really appreciated her mom making the effort, which was nice to hear.
I was really surprised to see my dad, considering how distant he and my mom have become. It’s not a bad relationship, just not very close. My mom has sometimes struggled with inviting him to family events, so I was glad Kylie and I didn’t have to ask this time. It was nice that my mom decided on her own that it would be good for him to be there.
Kylie Jenner also commented on how her mom, Kris Jenner, handled things maturely by contacting her ex. Kylie explained:
I’m not sure if my parents will fully reconcile, but this is a really positive start.
After Caitlyn Jenner transitioned, some friction developed with the Kardashian family, particularly following comments she made publicly about her ex-wife, Kris Jenner. Kris was especially upset by Caitlyn’s 2017 memoir, feeling it portrayed her negatively and unfairly.
It’s hard to imagine how difficult it was for Kendall and Kylie Jenner to see their parents going through such a tough time. Kendall has admitted her relationship with her dad can be challenging because they don’t always agree, but she still loves Caitlyn and wants her in their lives, explaining that:
I always make an effort to include her because I know she doesn’t have many activities or people outside of her family, and I suspect she feels lonely. It’s important to me that no one is sad, especially my dad and someone I care about so much. Having her around really brightens things up.
The farewell dinner at Eldorado went well, with Kris and Caitlyn Jenner both appearing to handle it without issue. It’s unclear if Kris’s former partner will be featured in future seasons of The Kardashians.
