Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, who also co-owns Garage Beer, is starring in a new short film called Thermal Buzz. The action-comedy, made with 20th Century Studios and the Predator: Badlands team, is a fun Halloween crossover that showcases Kelce’s personality alongside the popular Predator franchise.

The short film, Thermal Buzz, features Jason Kelce, professional wrestler Matt Cardona, and former Philadelphia Eagle Beau Allen. The 11-minute movie combines the intense style of Predator: Badlands with Kelce’s signature comedy and branding for Garage Beer.
The trailer starts with Travis Kelce running through a forest, desperately trying to escape the Predator. Just when it looks like the alien is about to catch him, Kelce surprisingly defends himself with a can of Garage Beer.
The tense situation quickly becomes funny – instead of arguing, the two men share a couple of beers. Kelce ends the trailer with a humorous line: “Garage Beer – beer that tastes like beer. It might just save your life.”
Thermal Buzz is a short film inspired by the 1987 movie Predator. Filmed near Orlando and directed by Jordan Phoenix, the 30-second clip will be shown during certain NFL games leading up to the film’s release. It will also be available on Garage Beer’s social media pages on Halloween.
Kelce expressed his enthusiasm for the project in a recent press release. He shared his fondness for classic 1990s action movies, especially Predator, which he called one of the most iconic films ever made. He praised its combination of thrilling action, memorable lines, and endlessly shareable moments.
Thermal Buzz is the third short film created by Kelce and Garage Beer. It’s a sequel to Brewmite II, where Jason Kelce and his brother, Travis, competed against MMA fighter Chuck Liddell and the original Brewmite – the film that began the series.
You can watch Thermal Buzz on Garage Beer’s social media starting October 31st. A 30-second version of the ad will also be shown during some NFL games, and you’ll see more promotions before the movie Predator: Badlands comes out on November 7th.
