Marvel Reveals 1 Fantastic Four Member Can Lift Thor’s Hammer

The Marvel Comics universe is full of heroes, but very few are strong enough to handle Thor’s power. Now, a member of the Fantastic Four has proven themselves worthy of joining that exclusive group.

I just finished reading *One World Under Doom* #8, and wow, it was a huge battle! Ryan North wrote it, with art by R.B. Silva, and it pitted Doctor Doom – who somehow had the power of the Sorcerer Supreme – against pretty much everyone. I mean, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers… they were all there. But it wasn’t just the big teams; tons of other heroes showed up too, from Squirrel Girl to Beta Ray Bill, this awesome alien with his own hammer, Stormbreaker, and powers like Thor. It was a really fun, chaotic fight!

The heroes attempted a daring plan, combining their powers in a continuous cycle created by Invisible Woman. While she contained the energy, Mister Fantastic channeled it into fixing the damaged Stormbreaker. This resulted in a powerful, new weapon imbued with Thor’s strength, but it needed someone worthy to wield it, as Beta Ray Bill was currently unable to do so.

What Fantastic Four hero wielded the power of Thor?

As a huge cinema fan, I always love seeing characters rise to the occasion, and The Thing absolutely did that when it came to proving he deserved to wield Thor’s power. Honestly, Ben Grimm had been through the wringer thanks to Doctor Doom – especially during that whole ‘One World Under Doom’ storyline. But his eagerness to jump into a fight, combined with how genuinely angry he was at Doom, really showed he was worthy of the newly reforged Stormbreaker. It was a fantastic moment!

Though Stormbreaker isn’t as well-known as Mjolnir, it shares the same magical property: only someone truly deserving can lift it and fight for what’s right. This clearly demonstrates that Ben Grimm is worthy of wielding Thor’s power, no matter which hammer he uses.
