An official Attack on Titan mode is coming to the popular game Roblox. This is a direct result of many fans already creating their own versions of the experience. A demo of the mode was recently showcased at a large gaming convention, and it’s being developed by a team with a history of award-winning work. So, even though the original Attack on Titan story has finished, fans can now look forward to even more fun!
Attack on Titan’s Official Roblox Mode Debuts Demo at Tokyo Game Show 2025
At the 2025 Tokyo Game Show, held from September 25th to 28th, the official Roblox mode was showcased by developer . Last year, Twin Atlas was a strong contender to create this game mode, alongside other possibilities like Bulk Games and Ambr x Moze. In this mode, players design their own characters, then join the Regiment to protect Paradis Island from the Titans. Andrew Bereza, Evelyn Lai, and Dillon Marsh from Twin Atlas were present at the show, and limited testing is starting shortly. Currently, there’s no confirmed date for when the mode will be released to all Roblox players.
The launch of the Attack on Titan: Guardians RP game mode is mainly Kodansha’s response to unauthorized content related to the series. Roblox is known for its extensive customization options, letting players design their own games within the platform. This has led to unofficial “adaptations” featuring many different brands, and Attack on Titan is one of them. By introducing this new mode, Twin Atlas and Kodansha aim to provide a genuine Attack on Titan experience within a widely-played game, helping to maintain the brand’s popularity for years. This isn’t the only anime collaboration in the game; Demon Slayer also has its own Roblox mode. There have been other partnerships between Attack on Titan and popular video games, and it’s just one of many anime series that have appeared in some form in the popular game Fortnite.
