Sam Raimi rumored to have talked about a different Marvel project
Sources say Sam Raimi, the director behind the original Spider-Man movies and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is in talks with Marvel Studios for a new project. According to a report from September 25, 2025, Raimi discussed possibilities with Marvel beyond a potential third Doctor Strange film, indicating the studio wants to continue working with him.
Sam Raimi has said he’d be open to directing another Marvel movie. In a 2024 interview, he shared his fondness for many of Marvel’s classic characters, originally created in the Stan Lee comic books, and expressed his desire to collaborate with Marvel Studios again.
