Terminal List Season 3 Will Definitely Happen If Chris Pratt Has His Way – But There’s One Catch

As a fan of *The Terminal List*, I was really interested to hear Chris Pratt, who stars in and helps produce the show, talk about a potential third season. It sounds like there’s a snag, though. The first season did really well on Amazon Prime Video, which led to the prequel, *Dark Wolf* with Taylor Kitsch, getting the go-ahead, and Season 2 being renewed. While Season 2 is still being filmed, everyone’s already starting to ask: will we get a Season 3?

Since *The Terminal List* is adapted from Jack Carr’s popular book series, there’s plenty of material for future seasons and even potential spin-off shows. Chris Pratt seems enthusiastic about continuing the story, even if later seasons follow characters other than James Reece.

Chris Pratt, star of *The Terminal List*, recently told Comicbook that the plan is to expand the action series into a larger interconnected universe, adapting more of Jack Carr’s novels. He envisions building a “Jack Carr Cinematic Universe” by bringing more of the books to the screen.

Our main goal is to build the JCCU – the Jack Carr Cinematic Universe – and adapt all of the books for the screen.

Pratt also mentioned that Carr’s novel, *Cry Havoc*, which focuses on Tom Reece (the father of James Reece), could be a source of material for future seasons of the show, potentially starting with Season 3.

A new book, *Cry Havoc*, will be released next October. It’s based on the character Tom Reece and explores the world of espionage during the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights era. The third book in the series, *Savage Son*, is particularly well-received. Other books in the series include *The Devil’s Hand* and *Red Sky Morning*.

Set during the Vietnam War in 1968, Cry Havoc tells the story of Tom Reece and his mission to uncover a conspiracy amidst a period of social and political turmoil.

Pratt hopes to create more seasons of the show based on other books in the Jack Carr series, potentially exploring events from the past. However, if they do this, he and the show’s other key characters wouldn’t return in their current roles.

I’m really enjoying this role and would be thrilled to continue exploring the story through multiple books, if fans want it. I love working with this cast and crew, and I’m committed to this project for as long as it continues to be successful.

It’s clear from what Pratt has said that he’s a big fan of *The Terminal List*, particularly because he’s hoping to see the story continued as a TV series.

The first season of *The Terminal List* concluded with Reece eliminating everyone he sought revenge against, even his close friend Ben Edwards. Season 2 will likely focus on his continued efforts to evade capture by the government. Currently, there’s no confirmed release date for the new season.

The first season of the prequel series, *The Terminal List: Dark Wolf*, recently finished streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The season concluded with Ben Edwards joining the CIA’s field operations team, which will tie into his storyline in the original *Terminal List* series.

Will Terminal List Season 3 Ever Adapt Jack Carr’s Cry Havoc?

As a huge fan, I’ve been thinking about how they could possibly adapt Jack Carr’s *Cry Havoc* in Season 3 of *The Terminal List*. It seems like the only way to do it would be if James Reece’s main story wraps up in Season 2. That would open the door for future seasons to explore different time periods and characters, all still connected to the same overall world, which I think would be amazing!

Chris Pratt clearly enjoys playing James Reece and seems eager to continue the role, as demonstrated by his appearances in the premiere and finale of *The Terminal List: Dark Wolf*. The first three books in *The Terminal List* series primarily focus on Reece’s journey, suggesting further adaptations could continue his story.

Savage Son, the third book in the series, features Reece and Raife Hastings (who appeared in Dark Wolf) working together to take on the Russian Mafia. If the show gets picked up for a third season, this book’s storyline could be adapted for the screen.

We could explore stories set in different time periods, potentially creating spin-offs like the one that expanded on Ben Edwards’ story with *Dark Wolf*. However, Jack Carr’s character, James Reece, wouldn’t be involved in those stories since they would take place in the past.

With Jack Carr having written many books in the series, *The Terminal List* has a great opportunity to create spin-offs and continue telling compelling stories on television.
